Young Carers
Cheshire East Carers' Hub provides a single point of access for all Carers including both young and adult Carers. The hub will ensure that Carers of all ages will have access to information, advice and a wide range of support services. These support services are designed to help Carers continue in their caring role for as long as they choose and to reduce the impact the caring role can have on a Carers own health and wellbeing. Support could include:

Home Start Cheshire
Home-Start Cheshire is a charity which provides support to local families in Cheshire who are going through challenging times.
Their aim is to prevent crisis and breakdown by helping to reduce stress.
They provide home-visiting family support to local families experiencing difficulties. They have a team of dedicated parent volunteers who visit families in their own home to provide emotional and practical support to help boost confidence and self-esteem to help with family pressures including the following areas :
- first time parenthood
- loneliness
- relationship difficulties, coping with twins or triplets
- assist with managing the household budget
- time out with managing children's behaviour
- help when recovering from illness or surgery
Gingerbread
Gingerbread is a national charity that provides advice and practical support for single parents. They also campaign to improve the lives of all single parent families.
